✨ILP Podcast Drop: Movement in Medicine
Movement is medicine and far too many of my educator friends are not taking it, let's fix that on this week's episode of the ILP (Individualized Living Plan) Podcast.
It's time for another deposit into your ILP (Individualized Living Plan). Are you making intentional time to move your body? If not, you are missing out on decreased stress, improved mood, better sleep, improved self-esteem, and so much more.
Let's fix that together on this week's episode of the ILP podcast where I discussed the importance of movement in living a happy and healthy life, the idea I learned from Peloton instructor Robin Arzon that movement is medicine, and the manageable ways to incorporate movement in your everyday life.
Movement for me has dramatically changed my life. Whether it’s my daily walks with my dog, my movement around the classroom, my weekly gym sessions, or my Peloton rides; I use movement to relieve stress but mostly to make me feel better about myself both physically and mentally.
Now, I want to be clear, your movement practice doesn’t have to look anything like mine because the best movement practice is the one that feels good for your and helps you meet the goal of being a happy and healthy teacher that is ready with a cup full enough to pour into the students your serve.
Need help building your practice? I got you, listen to this week’s for a laundry list of ideas to upgrade your movement game, I promise the 15 minutes will be well worth it!
See ya next week!
